
Bruce Lambert
transportation consultant
Bruce Lambert is a maritime and transportation professional with extensive experience at the federal, state, and local levels, both as an employee and a consultant. Most recently, he served as the Gateway Director at the U.S. Maritime Administration, where he led regional initiatives aimed at enhancing port resiliency, securing infrastructure funding, and improving supply chain coordination. Previously, Bruce directed the Institute for Trade and Transportation Studies, which focused on supporting freight policy and planning for Southeastern states. His career includes roles at the Port of Long Beach, Standard and Poor’s DRI, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Federal Highway Administration. Bruce brings a wealth of expertise in trade, transportation economics, and stakeholder engagement. He is currently completing a Ph.D. in Applied Economics, with a focus on port investment decisions.
