Peter Wallace is Principal Engineer—Risk and Regulatory Advisory at Lloyd’s Register. He is a naval architect working in areas of novel technologies and next generation shipping and offshore systems including commercial nuclear and advanced DP systems. Peter has worked in design, operations, construction, and chartering for shipyards, design firms, and oil majors including ConocoPhillips, BG Group and Shell. Peter has been involved in design and construction efforts in US shipbuilding working with New York City, US Army, US Navy, US Coast Guard, and a number of inland, coastal, and offshore Jones Act and US Flag operators. Peter has a BSc in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Webb Institute and an MBA from Tulane University. Peter is a licensed PE and Chartered Engineer.
