Shashwat Tripathi
postdoctoral appointee,
Argonne National Laboratory
Dr. Tripathi is a postdoctoral appointee in the systems assessment center at the Argonne National Laboratory, USA. His research focuses on quantifying emissions from the transportation sector on a lifecycle basis by evaluating the environmental and cost impacts of different powertrain technologies. He completed his bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering at JSSATEN, India. This was followed by his master’s degree in fluid mechanics and energetics from INP Grenoble, France, and his doctoral degree in propulsive systems for transportation from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Spain. He also worked as a powertrain engineer for Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi in India and was a visiting researcher at KAUST, Saudi Arabia.
